Cookie Policy
Every cookie this site sets, what it is for, and how to switch it off. No advertising cookies, and nothing sold or shared with ad networks.
We use cookies for three things: keeping you signed in, remembering your preferences, and counting visits so we know which parts of the site are worth improving.
We do not run advertising cookies. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with ad networks. If that ever changes, this page changes first and you will be asked again.
You are asked before anything optional is set, and you can change your mind at any time from your profile.
This policy is between you and TrackThirtyTwo Ltd, who own and run trackthirtytwo.com. It covers the website only. What we do with personal data more broadly is set out in our Privacy Policy, and the two should be read together.
A cookie is a small text file the site asks your browser to keep. It lets one page remember something from the last one, which is how you stay signed in when you move around the site.
A cookie on its own usually says nothing about who you are. Some of ours are tied to your account once you sign in, and where that happens it is handled under the Privacy Policy.
| Kind | What it is for | Can you refuse? |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Signing in, staying signed in, keeping your session attached to the right account, and holding your store basket. Without these you cannot log in or buy anything. | No, the site cannot work without them |
| Preferences | Remembering choices you have already made, such as your currency or whether the sidebar is open. | Yes |
| Analytics | Counting visits and seeing which pages get used, so we know what to fix, and recording how you found us so we know which of the places we talk about TrackThirtyTwo are worth the effort. Site usage is reported in aggregate. How you found us is kept against your account if you have one, so that we can tell which sources bring people who stay. Never sold, never shared, never used to advertise to you. | Yes |
There is no fourth kind. We do not set advertising or targeting cookies.
This is the full list. If you find one on the site that is not here, tell us and we will either explain it or remove it.
Essential
| Cookie | What it does |
|---|---|
| clerk_db_jwt | Proves you are signed in. Set by Clerk, who handle our accounts and logins. |
| __session | Keeps you signed in as you move between pages. Also Clerk. |
| selectedPartnerId | Remembers which company you are working under, if you belong to more than one. |
| shop-basket-v1 | Holds the items you put in your store basket, so they are still there on the next page. Strictly it is not a cookie: it is kept in your browser's local storage, read by the site only to price your basket and place your order, and kept until you empty your basket or place your order. It is needed for the service you asked for, so it is set without asking. |
| shop-delivery-v1 | Remembers the country (and the state, where one is needed) you chose in your basket, so the delivery cost is worked out for it next time. Like the basket, it is kept in your browser's local storage, read by the site only to price your delivery, and set without asking because the basket needs it. |
| store-order-* | Lets your browser open a store order after you follow the link in your order email, or come back from paying. It holds that one order's private key, so the key never sits in the page address, and lasts 90 days. It is needed to show you your order, so it is set without asking. |
| store-preview | Only set if you open a private preview link to the store before it opens, so the store shows to you on later visits. Lasts 30 days. |
| store-news-confirm | Only set if you follow the link in an email asking you to confirm a store news sign-up. It holds that link's private key, so the key never sits in the page address, until you press the button to confirm. Lasts an hour at most. |
| store-basket-restore | Only set if you follow the link in a basket reminder email. It holds that link's private key until your basket page has put your items back, so the key never sits in the page address. Lasts an hour at most. |
Preferences
| Cookie | What it does |
|---|---|
| dnr-theme | Remembers whether you chose light, dark, or to follow your system. |
| userCurrency | Remembers the currency you want prices shown in. |
| dnr-tz | Remembers your time zone, so Race Academy shows the dates and times of your laps on your own clock. |
| sidebar_state | Remembers whether you left the dashboard sidebar open or collapsed. |
| dnr_ref | Records which creator's link brought you here, so they get credited if you subscribe. Holds a public creator code and nothing about you. Expires after 90 days. |
| dnr_ref_seen | Notes that your visit has already been counted for that creator, so refreshing the page does not count twice. Expires after 90 days. |
Analytics
| Cookie | What it does |
|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics. Tells repeat visits apart from new ones. |
| _ga_* | Google Analytics. Holds the current visit, so a session is not counted as several. |
| _gid | Google Analytics. Same job as _ga, over a single day. |
| dnr_acq | Records how you first found us and what brought you back most recently, for example a link from a video or a search. We use it to understand which of the places we talk about TrackThirtyTwo actually reach people. It holds the campaign details from the link you followed and the name of the site that referred you, never the full address you came from. If you create an account, this is saved against it so we still know months later, and a copy goes with any store order you place. Set by us, never shared with anyone, never used to advertise to you. Expires after 90 days. |
| store-purchase-sent:* | Notes that Google Analytics has already been told about a store order you have just placed, so reloading the order page does not count it twice. Strictly it is not a cookie: it is kept in your browser's session storage and goes when you close the tab. |
These are only set once you accept analytics. Until then Google Consent Mode holds the Google ones back, and dnr_acq is not written at all.
Change your mind whenever you like from your profile. Preferences and analytics can both be switched off there.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. Every browser does this differently, so its own help pages are the best guide, and aboutcookies.org covers the general ground.
Blocking the essential ones will stop you signing in, because the site has no other way to tell who you are. Blocking the rest simply means the site forgets your preferences between visits.
We update this page when the cookies change, and the date at the top tells you when that last happened. If we ever add a kind of cookie we do not use today, advertising above all, we will ask for your consent again rather than rely on consent you gave for something else.
